Intimate Home Wedding | Minnetonka, MN
I don't know if I could love a couple more for the mere fact that Whitney is an absolute doll. I have had the pleasure of knowing her since the high school days of Stillwater Area High School and felt incredibly thankful that I could help coordinate a gorgeous day for her and Greg.
A few things I knew going into Whitney's wedding day:
1. She has incredible taste
2. She's a girl that knows what she wants
3. She has the organizational skills of a ninja
She and her soon to be husband were working on building their dream home on Lake Minnetonka and wanted to hold an intimate ceremony with their immediate family to celebrate their new home and new union.
Parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews gathered with anticipation at their home. Quince Catering prepared negronis for the adults and kiddy cocktails for the little ones before the ceremony. A heartfelt toast and some quick pictures were taken before the ceremony was underway. Lake Minnetonka and lush green trees were their backgrounds as they exchanged their vows.
They were greeted with appetizers and libations to celebrate the union while family pictures commenced. After some relaxation, they were ushered to the couple's long kitchen table for a meal that can only be described as drool-worthy and filling.
A sea of guests patiently awaited the newlywed's arrival at The Lafayette Club while sipping on specialty cocktails and nibbling on a sea of small bites.
Whitney and Greg took a page out of their own and very familiar book and rode their speedboat over in style, while the sun casually set with the most vibrant pinks behind them. They hugged each and every one of their guests, smiled until their cheeks hurt, and sipped on old-fashioneds until the evening came to an end.
My kind of couple
